Oh dear! The garbage collection guys have come to empty your bin and you realize that your short cable is missing.  You recall how you did not “click” your cable into your gravity lock that morning as you put your bin outside, because you were late to drop the kids at school or for that very important meeting.

Here is another handy tip: How to avoid loosing your short black cable

Attach the cable tie that’s supplied with your unit, through the short cable’s eye (loop) and around the long cable (the one that is attached to your bin’s back hinge; with the padlock on the other end). See image above.

Now the short cable cannot slide down over the long cable eye.
